The Covina Center for the Performing Arts is proud to present a Master Class with Tony Award winning Broadway composer Jason Robert Brown. Mr. Brown, who will be seen in concert at CCPA on Friday, February 20, 2009 and Saturday, February 21, 2009 along with his orchestra, the Caucasian Rhythm Kings in An Evening with Jason Robert Brown and the Caucasian Rhythm Kings. He will teach a single Master Class in musical theater performance on Saturday afternoon. This rare opportunity will allow individuals to perform on stage and receive instruction and critiquing from Mr. Brown.
Performers must submit a headshot and resume, along with the completed application form which can be found at www.covinacenter.com to nprax@covinacenter.comCompleted submissions must be received by February 2, 2009 and notification of selection will be by email. Those chosen will be charged $100 and will receive special onstage seating for the event.
