Student Ambassadors will serve as liaison between their schools and Covina Center for the Performing Arts. Through promotions, Student Ambassadors will help spread the word to their high schools’ undergraduate and graduate students, about performances, our student rush-ticket policy, and special events. The following is an overview of ways a Student Ambassador can promote CCPA while gaining poise, presentation skills, and growth in creativity for themselves. (Self-created marketing ideas from Student Ambassadors are welcome.)
- Put posters, fliers, and postcards around campus facilities and community outlets, with appropriate permission.
- Get campus newspapers to include programs or events in their school calendar and to include feature articles on programs or events.
- Represent the Covina Center for the Performing Arts at campus gatherings and festivities.
- Distribute Group Sales brochures to various theatre and performing arts groups and facilities.
- Include CCPA’s site link (www.covinacenter.com) on AIM profile, Facebook profile, MySpace profile, or other social networking sites.
- Write and post about CCPA and StageARTS Repertory productions on social networking sites.
- E-mail friends/acquaintances about upcoming programs and events.
- Text message to friends/acquaintances about upcoming shows and events.
- Blog about favorite CCPA or StageARTS Repertory performers, productions, cabaret, or special events.
In order to earn a free pair of tickets Student Ambassadors are expected to promote each production in at least four different ways to their schools and communities.
