The Covina Center for the Performing Arts will open our doors for local school’s and youth organizations to be of this special program. A Day at the Theatre will feature tours of our multi-million dollar facility, a general history of theatre, a class picture on the stage for their classroom, a question and answer session in the theatre with CCPA personnel and/or performers, and special performances by members of the resident performing group of CCPA, StageARTS Repertory. This highly interactive and educational field trip will last 90 minutes. Loosely modeled after the acclaimed children’s book “How Does the Show Go On: An Introduction to the Theatre” by Thomas Schumacher . This event promises to be the perfect introduction into the world of theatre!
